Can I apply for implied status with a CEC ITA?

I received an ITA under the Canadian Experience Class(CEC), however, my current work permit is getting expired in 2 months and it is not getting extended.

I spoke to an immigration consultant and she told me I could not apply for implied status with FSW ITA because we thought that was going to be my ITA type I would receive, however, I received a CEC ITA and I would like to know if with this I could.
