Can I apply for Canadian VISA visitor if I still have a valid visa?

Hi guys, I am an international student in USA and visited my relative during 7 days of fall break. my question is that I have a valid multiple Canadian visa which expires by the end of February but I have a spring break on March 9 to 19. I want to go Canada for that period of time. Since, You guys might know that the visa process will take two or three months. I want to apply earlier January to get the visa by March. Can you tell me that if I apply for visitor visa if I have a valid visitor visa?

You can't have two TRVs valid at the same time. Some offices may cancel the one you have and issue you another one if you are in that small time gap that makes it reasonable to do so, but most of the times your request will be denied (not refused) as you already have a valid document.
