Can I apply for Canadian PR under FSW if my passport is expiring in 3 months

Hi,

I am planning to apply for Canadian PR under skilled worker category for year 2014. All my documents are ready , My Passport is expiring in mid October. Is it OK if I go ahead and apply with the same passport of shall i renew it first and then apply.
