Hi,

Due to some personal reasons, I can't go to India but I want to see my family. My husband is getting his Doctoral degree in June 2022 and my son's birthday is in July. Do you think it can be a valid reason to apply for my brother's visitor visa? If yes should we just apply for my brother or I can include his wife and son too? My brother runs a business and his wife's all family is in India if that can help in our application.
My mom has a visitor visa and I want the same option for my brother too so they can visit us whenever he wants.

Your brother and his family can apply. They need to show funds for a visit, ties to home country, travel history and reasons to travel. Are they all vaccinated? How old is their son?

Thanks for your answer. Their son is 5 years old, they will plan to come in his summer vacation. what amount of funds do you think should be enough to increase the chances of a visa?

If the son is not vaccinated then check with airlines whether he can travel. To get to Canada, he will needs multiple tests. He will not be able to go out so plan for 14 days of him at home and masked…no public outings except for walks. There is no set amount of funds but if coming for the summer, they need to show considerable funds not including costs for airfare.

Thank you for your input, I saw your point on vaccination. I will check it through
