Can I apply Alberta PNP?

I've been workin in Alberta for 8 month after graduation. I was planning to apply PNP.
But the division I worked in was sold this month, and now it's a new company.
The PNP requires that the candidate should work for the SAME employer for at least 6 month.
I wonder in this case, am i still qulified for PNP.

I'm really confused, and appreaciate some suggestions.
