Can I add Secondary and Post secondary information after getting ITA?

Hi,
I have got ITA in the last draw.
After checking the Express Entry profile I found that I provided only Bachelors' Degree information for me in study field where it was askied for all the information of secondary and post secondary.
I have done the same mistake for my spouse too.

In the final application I am submitting with those missing information and providing a letter of explanation for it.

For this update in the profile I will lose any point from my overall CRS score.
Will this update lead to rejection of my application as the information will not match with the express entry profile?

Just Bachelors degree information is fine if you have the ECA for it.
