Hi everyone,
I need some advice regarding my situation with foreign work experience and Express Entry. Here’s my story:
• I have 1 year of full-time work experience from my home country.
• First 7 months: Gained during my B.Tech final year (while studying).
• Next 5 months: From a different company after graduating.
• When I applied for my study permit and later my work permit for Canada, I did not mention this work experience due to improper advice.
• Now that CRS scores are really high, I want to include this work experience in my Express Entry profile since I have all the relevant documentation to support it (e.g., reference letters, payslips, etc.).
My questions:
1. Will including this work experience cause any problems with my PR application?
2. Could this omission in my earlier visa applications lead to complications, even though I didn’t intend to misrepresent?
3. Has anyone else been in a similar situation, and how did it go for you?
I really appreciate any advice or personal experiences you can share. Thanks in advance!
