I am in Canada currently, when on the Express Entry page they ask - Do you have one year full time skilled work experience/or equivalent experience in Part Time -

Instead of this-
1 year continuous supervisor job SKilled NOC B

Can it be
- 4 months some NOC B job
- Next 4 months some NOC B job
-Next 4 months some NOC B job

Is this allowed/okay - or NOT allowed?
Or does it have to be just in one profession?

Thank you

"Applicants must have at least 12 months of full-time, Canadian skilled work experience (or the equivalent in part-time work experience) in one or more NOC 0, A or B occupations within the 36 months before the date of application receipt [R87.1(2)(a)]."

"Work experience need not be continuous under the CEC."

Thank you
How many hours per week do they consider FULL time? So that it can help me calculate my hours properly.

Other question - Currently I am employed at a MARKETING Company which sells Credit Cards - My post is "Sales Representative"

Does Sales Representative come under 0,A or B at all? Or does it not count at all?

I ask because I went to the website and could not find that post....thank you

From the website, for my calculation question, I found this-

  • 12 months of full-time work:
    • 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours), OR
  • equal amount in part-time hours, such as:
    • 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

HOWEVER,
30hrs a week * 4 weeks a month * 12 months = 1440 hours and NOT 1560 hours

Same with Part time calculation

Am I missing something?
Thank you

30 hrs a week * 52 weeks in a year = 1560 hrs.
Thank you very much.
My question now is- Like you mentioned above, that the 1yr CANADIAN experience can be either fragmented into few jobs or just 1 - but it has to be that amount of hours.

Does the same thing apply for OUT of Canada jobs? Or does it just apply for jobs within Canada?

Thank you

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
"The applicant must have accumulated at least one year of continuous full-time (or the equivalent in part-time) paid work experience in the occupation identified in their application for permanent residence as their primary occupation. In calculating this period of work experience, the occupation must be listed in skill type 0 (Managerial occupations), skill level A (Professional occupations) or skill level B (Technical occupations and skilled trades) of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2011 [R75(2)(a)]."

First off, check if your NOC is of Skill-Type O, A or B. Then check if you have 1-Full Year of Continuous Work Experience (minimum 30hrs/day) on the same. Good luck.
