Based on what I understand, Electrical Engineer is one of the NAFTA professions listed that omit a Canadian employer from having to submit a LMO to offer me a position as I have a 4 year Electrical Engineering degree.
Can someone do a quick sanity check on this process for me?
1) Get a Job offer from a Canadian Company
2) Go to the Border and have them issue me a TWP (which would be good for 3 years right?)
3) After 1 year in Canada I can apply for PR under Skilled Worker Class (I have a Type A job)
Is that right? I will have my degree and transcripts with me at the border in case they need anything, but I am a little bit hazy on what exactly the process is.
