my husband and i have been married for a year , we got married after six months of our relationship. my husband has an interview on the 23rd this month and im nervous. i recently gave birth to our daughter 3 weeks ago and he missed the birth and my pregnancy. my husband was ordered to leave canada a year ago. and i went to visit him in may for a month. im scared that he will get refused and i cant take care of our baby alone im not working yet and my mother is my source of income since in his country (algeria) they dont allow them to send money out of the country. can my husband still be denied even though we have a baby together? we have proof of me being there in algeria and our relationship . my husband and i text, talk skype ,every single day we have proof of that. should i still be worried ? i read even though most relationships are genuine applications can still be refused.

It could still be denied, yes. There have been cases on here where couples who had children were denied.

They look at the whole picture. The child is part of the picture. If the whole picture points towards a genuine relationship, then you should be okay.

yes even though you have a baby you could still be denied under genuineness or some other reason... but if you have enough proofs you can get through... most of genuine people get denied but after appeal they get through... i have a child from my marriage but i was refused for twice and all are done for now...
dont worry not everybody who was interviewed are denied ask your husband to face the interview with confidence Good luck...

thank you i appreciate the advice :)
having a child means little to them. Sometimes, its a red flag depending on other issues. Eventually you will get to Canada even if you have to appeal :)

I'm curious to know why Algerians cannot send money abroad. That's interesting. I've never heard of that before.

If you have a real relationship then you have nothing to worry about, be calm, clearly explain the situation at the interview, the CIC are very reasonable and decent. You have an interview because it is a short relationship but having a baby is not a red flag, each case is unique so other people cannot assess your situation. Good luck

i think the bigger issue for him is that he was deported from canada. did he receive an exclusion order? that's more important than relationship facts.
