Can anyone share their experience and timelines with Mexican Visa Office??

hi everyone

I would like to know from fellow Mexicans or people who knows, your experience in applying or that had applied for PR under family class sponsorship.

Im starting to panic :S :( specially regarding how long will take to the Mexican visa Office to process the application. is it really a minimun of 6 months!!??

I am sponsoring my husband out-land...he is in Mexico. The Canadian Embassy has had his file since November. He received an email in December stating they will contact him for an interview in the first quarter of 2010....still waiting for a date.....
 
Hi! Just wanted to let you know that my husband finally received the date for his interview in Mexico City!!!! March 25th!

Have you heard anything with yours yet?
 
mine is processing in buffalo and a decision has been made! just waiting for their answer and the passport request.

good luck to all of you with the mexican office.

HI good to know your process is moving forward. So, does it means that once he goes for interview he would get his PR??

Unfourtunately there has been some delay in my application...we havent send it yet, still waiting for some docuements and filling out the forms has been a headache so many things to consider.

Question...did your husband get the police clearance already?? (the federal one??) I only got the one from my estate

Congratulations!!
did you send the application to buffalo because you where in USA?? or are you currently in Canada? or SLP??
I know buffalo is much faster but can I send my application there if I hold an american visa or do I have to actually live in USA??

well, we sent it to mississauga first, we asked for the mexican office but since im living in the US they sent it to buffalo. anyway, im excited, nervous, and anxious!

going down to san luis for about a week when i get my visa ;D
