Can anyone explain to me the steps of getting a work visa and moving to Canada?

I am planning on moving to Canada with a solar job. I have been in the solar industry for over 5 years. I will be bringing my son and also my mom as a nanny for him. Any and all advice would be great. Thanks is advance.

Since you have a job then you have an approved LMIA. Apply for closed work permit with experience letters, ECA and IELTS, and study permit for child if school age. Your mom cannot come and look after the child. She needs her own TRV and can visit up to 6 months but cannot live in Canada. She needs to show her own funds, ties to return and travel history.

Only part of this plan is feasible. As said above, you and your child can come provided you secure an LMIA supported job offer and work permit. However it will not be feasible for your mother to move with you are a caregiver. If bringing your mother is a critical part of your plan, then look at countries other than Canada.

Part one is possible, mom coming along won’t be .

You’ll need to go thru the steps in hiring and paying salary to a caregiver authorized to do that type of work in Canada

Your mom isn’t authorized

Your authorization to work & live in Canada doesn’t cover your mother
