hi to all
i have question that im going to travel canada with my wife and one daughter as a new immigrant we dont have arange employment .......can anyone can tell me how much funds should i take for survivals untill not getting job.....

Hmm... I would suggest budgeting how much you are wanting to spend on a residence for you three. You can look on www.craigslist.org under "apartments/housing" and do a search for the area you are moving to, to get a rough idea. So if rent is $900, double that for first and last months rent (and some may require an additional deposit on top of first and last, but I don't think that's common and could probably be negotiated).

Then work out how much food money you will need, expense money, costs for getting around on public transportation, etc.

I would say you would need at least $2000-3000 a month to live comfortably with your family in Canada before getting a job. But I'm a student and used to living on nothing, so you might want to add more!

are you asking how much the government requires you to bring or how much to bring in order to live decent untill you find a job?
where in canada are you going?
