Can any Body Tell me About old Immigration application in2004

]Hey Every body this is Ria Mann i want to know about old immigration i mean to say those who have applied in 2004 can any body tell me are they stop working on those applications because i never heard from any one those who had applied in 2004.So is there any body who had applied in 2004 or any body get pr for that application I had applied as skilled worker in 2004 as federal skilled worker delhi india embassy asked me to update all the documents in the month of july2008 i submitte all my documents on 2nd oct. 2008 but till date i havent any response .my on line status is in PROCESS from last 3rd may 2004Please senior can any body tell me r they stop working in the old application or due to recession it happen.Seniors please help me how long they will take to finalise application .

They are working on, be patient is only thing you can do, or if you occupation falls under new 38 list, then consider for withdraw old application or keep continuo and reapply under new rules for faster results.

Hi Ria,
I applied in Apr 2004 under FSW1.
I got letter from CHC asking to updation of documents in Oct 2009.
I updated documents in Nov 2008.
Also alongwith the updation I submitted Arranged Employment letter.
I was asked to get the medials done, send RPRF and send passports (at the same time) on 24th March 2009.
I got my medicals done on Apr 7th 2009.
Sent passports and RPRF on 8th Apr 2009.
Still waiting for the passports to come back after stamping

I am Jan 2004 AOR and nothing heard form New Delhi. Its been ten months since I updated documents.
No news at all from CIC.

thanks Mahharouf for reply but my occupation do not fall in 38 new list can i arrange job offer from canada? May be after that they process my letter fast do you have any idea according to your experience.

Hello Ria,
Today i saw my status changed to desicion made.
Also to my surprise, today I received my passport in mail with the visa stamped. Immigration visa stamped till 7th Apr 2010.
So, its all set now.
Thanks to CIC New Delhi for a prompt action....

Hi Ria,
Thanks a lot. I apologise for late reply.
My NOC was 0911 as per old NOC list. This didnot fall in the new list of NOCs.

Regarding your question about me getting visa till April 2010, Whenever they issue an immigration visa, they set a time limit for it and usually that expires before you complete 1 year of your medicals.
Like in my case my medicals were done on 8th Apr 2009, so they issued me a visa till 7th Apr 2010.
This in nut shell means that i will have to leave India before expiry of my immigration visa i.e. 7th Apr 2010.
Once I land in Canada, I shall get a PR card withing one month from date of landing.
I wont be able to travel outside Canada without getting that PR card.
Hope I have been able to explain this to you and not confusing you.
