Hello experts,

My sister has Visitors visa, and she will be visiting Canada next month. She is interested to study in Canada, and I was wondering if there is any way to transfer visitors visa to student visa? Her plan is to take admission in colleges when she is in Canada, and I am not sure if she can transfer her visa to student visa.

I would like to know if anyone can help me with more details about Visitors visa to Student visa?

Thank you,

She cannot transfer from being a visitor to a foreign student while in Canada, she has to go back and apply as a foreign student and enter Canada as a foreign student

Thanks Newtone,

Just wanted to make sure if there was any possibility to chance visa type. In American, through lawyer you can transfer Visitors visa to student when you enter, but I am sure its not same in Canada.

I appreciate your reply.

Have a great day.

I also need same information that you want, please share me if you get necessary information.

Last time I looked Canada and the US were separate countries with different laws. As you were told she has to apply at an office outside Canada.
