Can a person apply under PNP if application is already in queue for Federal

Hi guys,

I had applied under federal category under NOC 2171. As this is not on the list published recently, I am planning to apply for Manitoba PNP.

Can any1 tell me whether a person can apply under PNPs if an application is already there under federal.
