Can a new Established Inc, hire or apply for LMO!

hi all,

one of my frend from india looking forward to work in canada but he need a work permit.
he found a company which is fairly new established incorporation.
my question is, what are the chances for him get his lmo approved.

because i heard that, if the company is newly established, can he be able to obtain a positive lmo to hire the foreign worker..

please help us with this issue and ur suggestion and tips might help my frend to start his life in this beautiful country..

To be honest, it may be harder for a newly established company to get an LMO. HRSDC will ask how many Canadians they already have on staff, and will look at how their business plan accounted for growth - what kind of HR strategy does the owner have? Another important question will be how easy it would be to find Canadians to fill the job in question - roles requiring specialized skills are more easily granted LMOs. If you explain what the company does and what kind of job is on the table, you may get more specific advice.
