Can a High school international student in Canada do a part-time job in or off-campus if he or she is over 18? Or is he or she eligible to apply for work permit if the student wants to work during studying in Canadian High School?

You have asked the question before. No you can’t work. It only applies if you are at college or university. And no you aren’t eligible for a work permit. You come to study only as a high school student.

But I asked a immigration consultant in Canada and he said that I can apply for work permit. Are you sure about your answer?

Ask your consultant how you are eligible for a work permit as a high school student? You aren’t. Are you studying in a Quebec high school or CEGEP? Have you even applied for the study permit? Why don’t you wait and go to university in Canada as you would need to apply for another study permit and show even more funds to get approval.

Consultant is wrong. Answer is still no. Doesn't matter how many times you ask, answer will still be no.

If this was a consultant outside of Canada who told you this, you should be aware that they frequently lie about details like this to get money from you.
