can a big deposit in POF be a reason for possible rejection?

Hello, I have been asked for POF a second time after 3 years, but I had to withdraw the cash over a year ago because the bank was facing trouble (the case of the bank is common knowledge in my country). I kept the cash with me because the situation in the country is not very good; now that I have been asked to provide proof of funds I have to return the cash in one deposit, will this raise questions with the visa officer? or should I attach an explanation?

In any situation that differs from normal a cover letter is a wise option. What additional documentation you can provide to support your claim? While it is common knowledge at home, it might not be to the VO. I am thinking specifically of dated news items naming the bank's troubles, either from a newspaper or printed from online. Also, provide the bank statements from BEFORE you removed the money. If you can prove that you had that money long before removing it from the bank, it will make your case stronger.

yes I can attach news articles about the bank; and I can send a one year statement where I can show that I had the amount but I withdrew it in many installments because they wouldn't let me take it out in one amount. And I usually make my deposits in large amounts because they come from commissions of real estate deals made by my husband only twice a year and it also shows in one year statement
