1. Can we travel to Canada couple of months before the program starts and work part time as per new rules ?

2. Is it legal to travel and work before the program starts.

1. u can travel 1 month prior to your course.
2. no u cant work before your course starts because to work as a student first u have to be student.

u need to be a full time registered r student
"To be able to work in Canada, however, you must be registered and enrolled at your designated learning institution"
which i dont believe u will be enrolled by the college 2 months prior to ur college start date.

What if 1 receives a student visa that it selves states that ge have got into some program and he is a student .

So cant he work on those terms ?

no ..again u got visa u still dont have study permit as well as u are not enrolled for classes. people go to canada on student visa and dont study hence per new rules colleges r required to notify CIC about ur enrollment/registration. getting student visa doesnt mean u will go there and study hence all the precautions.
if u go to canada 2-3 months prior to start date of ur college u could get into trouble and sent back. also u cannot work as u wont be enrolled for classes. enrollment doesnt start 2 month prior to classes. if ur not enrolled u probably wont get a SIN(not sure with new rules).

there is no age limit. as for spouse and minors need visitors visa but yes they can accompany u if they get approved

I havequite a few frnds there. They say canada is strict on who enters and who gos out of the country. Abhi koi bhi country kisi crimna ko apne country m thodi n aane dega, use common sense yaar. Agr visa officer ko tum p thoda bhi suck hua na, thn u will be in the plane to home. got it i hope ?

Just be clm and go. Give him a good n satisfied answer that y u have come early. Thats all love. Dont be afraid.
