I don't even know why I'm asking, but has anyone actually had much luck calling? I call, punch in my Client ID and they kindly tell me to sod off and hang up. I've tried navigating the call tree as I'd like to talk to someone, but I don't want to lie and say I'm calling regarding something I'm not. Has anyone had any success calling and doing it the right way?

Are they still using the Afghan refugees excuse when you call?

I see you are at the very end of your process. Just give it some more time. Montreal office does seem to be moving at a slower speed. Calling in normally would give you something generic.

Yeah, "due to a shifting of agents regarding the Afghanistan crisis" blah blah blah. They ask you to hang up and only stay on the phone if there's an "urgency" to your processing, such as address change or a risk to your health if your application is delayed.

I am planning to send them a webform soon. I sent them one a number of weeks ago, and haven't gotten any response. I guess they decided not to response to my inquiry because of the excuse you mentioned.

I filed an ATIP request a few days ago; I'm not expecting to hear anything for probably another month. Here's to hoping it kickstarts something, however!
