Hello, quick question..
I am able to call 1 - 613-944-4000, and it works... but I am not able to call 1-888-242-2100.

Will I be able to use the first number to find out information about my application?

Are you applying Outland? That's for the first number.

Second number is in-land. Won't work from outside

I call from outside of Canada using the first number (calling using skype)...always manage to connect. But to get to an agent you must follow all the instructions and hear lots of info...and at the end you might be lucky and get to a person!

The first number worked, however it asks for an application number. I did not get my AOR yet that is why I am calling. What do I do for that question? I just put the # key, and eventually it said it was connecting me to an agent, and then it dropped call because volume was too high.

I just kept hitting 0 and you need to try multiple times to get through 3-7 calls. Try calling around 740 am EST

You have to try several times, it would be very uncommon if you got through to speak to an agent the first time. Usually for me it takes about 4 times after going through the menus until they say "we are currently experiencing a high volume of calls" then the call drops. You have to keep insisting until you don't get that message and are placed on hold instead. Waiting on hold is usually 30 minutes or more. You can call at any time, it doesn't have to be necessarily in the early morning. You just have to insist on it and keep trying. I've called after noon and it's worked out fine. Good luck

I just got a request for a shitload of documents that I either sent, can’t get or don’t exist.

Need to speak to an actual human being. Tried 5 times already to get through but they do a really good job of avoiding that.
