Call IRCC as Canadian Abroad

Hi,

I am a CEC applicant who normally resides in Canada, currently spending some time in the US with family.

I tried calling IRCC from my Canadian SIM card, but it appears I'm running into whatever checks they use for foreign calls.

Has anyone been in this situation? How did you resolve it?
