Several applicants have seen their calls recorded (as an event not the details) on their GCMS notes. You can call as many times as you want in theory it doesn't affect the process but what are you trying to achieve since all you will get is likely an 'its in process' or other non detailed feedback. If you want to have a better idea of what is going on with your application then get your GCMS notes.
Better to get the GCMS notes. But even those don't appear to be complete. You can't necessarily tell when your file was sent to the local office from GCMS notes.
