CAIPS notes //// useful or useless????

Hello All,

Does the CAIPS notes shows any status related to the security checks. if it is cleared or any other thing.

also is it really worth to order this?

Hi,

CAIPS notes are useful when there is an unusual delay of the application and there is no reply from the visa office for any enquiry.

If your question is about Background check - You will not get any information from CAIPS.

Security Decision remarks on CAIPS whould appear as:
BDEC 1 or 2 or 3 or 4

Code means:

* 1 passed
* 2 omitted - all under 18
* 3 incomplete
* 4 failed

But, in my CAIPS ( got just one month before final decison of PR approval) BDEC was blank !!!.
