I need an advise about C-20 Close work permit (LMIA exempt).
Currently, I'm on open work permit (PGWP) which is valid till 2026.
I'm working with my employer since one year and in order to increase CRS score, my employer is offering me C-20 closed work permit which will be valid till 3 years.
1) Can you please advise if it's good option to surrender open work permit and go on closed work permit?
2) Considering I am already working with the same company since 1 year in Canada, will I be able to claim 50 points in express entry(CEC) , once I get closed work permit or do I need to have one year experience on the close work permit to get 50 points and I can apply only after a year?
3) is it a good option to enter the pool on open work permit and then change to close work permit to increase chances for PR as I have already completed WES and language test requirements?
