Hi friends this thread helped me a lot during my earlier days of application.....I got first refusal in Nov 2015 for 2016 Jan intake but without getting demoralised I applied second time for May 2018 intake and 2nd time was the charm....and since this thread helped me a lot if any has any question pls ask me and I will try my best to give the satisfactory answer.

please I av a question..

My passport is expiring in 2yrs time and it has a visa stamp to Ghana on it, and the course i intend to do is 2yrs also.. am scared that it might be an hindrance from the Visa Officer's view

..and so I concluded that I am going to renew it but I was told by an immigration officer here in Nigeria that it can't be renewed with 2yrs on it

..but the only way out is to threat it as a lost case so I can get a fresh 5 more years.

I am kind of frightened, will this move look suspicious or fraudulent as my passport bio-data is already reflecting in the Canada Immigration system, should I explain about it been missing/misplaced in my Letter of Explanation or what advise should I heed to?
