I applied for the second time after rejection (SDS India). I received my BVL in just under 5 days after application. This seems very quick and unusual? From what I read this surely means its another rejection for me as it cant really be this quick? and also medicals are not yet updated.

Anyone else experience this ? Last time I received BVL and rejection letter together. This time it was only BVL

Refusal reasons the first two time? If you don’t mind sharing?! I’m working on my 3rd application and want to answer all the answers possible to avoid a 3rd refusal!

First refusal :
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• Given your previous education and/or employment history, I am not satisfied that the motivation to pursue this particular program at this point in time in Canada is reasonable. Refused under R216(1)(b).

Second:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

I changed my program to a Graduate Certificate from Diploma for my third application.

If you are a bachelor degree holder, for them it barely makes a difference, certificate or diploma. Should’ve gone for a masters program which was related to your previous education and experience.
always think of one question which is so relevant yet very less people care, “WHY STUDY IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY AT SUCH EXORBITANT EXPENSE? WHATS THE ROI?” Talk about that and think from that perspective.

Thanks for sharing. Similar timeline but my review I believe started the next day. My medicals are not updated as well. So I guess it can go anyways for me from here. Is this your first application ?

True , however, I am carrying all the red flags in education which is given below (but it makes sense in my case and also got me approved once and I am confident it will get me approved again):

2017 - Undergrad (Bachelors) - Studied my topic of interest in just one semester
Fall 2020- 1 yr Advanced Diploma - Specialization in that topic of interest (Study visa approved, never traveled so no study permit)
Fall 2021 - 1 yr Grad Certificate - Specialization in a different but linked topic of interest (the Ad Diploma is a requirement for this course)

So, I am quite confident that given how my education is linked to one other - should not be rejected but no one can say for sure. Fingers crossed. Justified everything in SOP though!!

Second application after first successful application. Already finished my 1 yr AD fully online.

I got BVL in 6 days
Medicals are not updated yet.
This is my second application
Seems like this is a new standard IRCC is using. Only time will tell what this actually turns out to be. Earlier after BVL if it is a rejection you would know in 24 hours and if not it usually meant positive result. I dont know how to translate this into now.

How to know if u passed medical or not? The doctor said they ll send it in 2 days and u can check from the barcode given on the e-medical form.. for the biometrics the staff said in VFS that it ll be uploaded in 72 hrs in ur portal and then an email came that it's in transit to IRCC office?
I dont know what's going on?
