I went through many blogs and discussions but could not find one specifically related to accounts (CPA) or finance (CFA) fields, overall for commerce background students. Although generalised PG in business related courses were mentioned but not not in detail. Pardon me, if I had possibly missed out on some.
I require assistance/guidance with respect to my understanding of following criteria's:
1. University or College = University students are preferred by canadian employers.
(What are the possiblilities for an average BBA/BCom student to overcome 1st division past academic criteria's of Universities ?
Can GMAT socres or work experience overcome these barriers ? )
2. Course = Can help in pursuing designations such as CFA or CPA, some even provide exemptions from CPA PREP & PEP modules.

3. Region = Such as winnipeg St.John etc have less unemployment rate and Alberta & manitoba helps in easy PR conversions.
(Please shed some light on financial hub regions (like Ontario) where one has higher vacancies for accounts & finance related jobs)

2005-2006 10+2 = 84%
2007 Backlog
2008-2010 B.Com (P) = 56% (ARSD college-Delhi Univ.)
2010 CFA = Level 1 cleared (USA AIMR) .
2011-2014 Work ex. = 3+ years (1+yr in accounts and 2+yrs as financial analyst)
* IELTS result is awaited and Preparing for GMAT.
