Business card of the person signing - a question

Hi,

In the checklist, under "Work Experience" section, we are asked to submit the business card of the person signing. The company in which I am working right now does not encourage their employees to immigrate into the countries they are deputed to. So, I cannot explicitly go and request for such a business card citing immigration as a reason.

Question - Is there a way for me to work around the business card requirement of CIC?

Just curious - if you can't get a business card, who is writing the letter of reference?

In any case, you can write a cover letter stating why you can't get the business card, but honestly, it doesn't make sense that you can get a letter of reference on letterhead, but not a business card.

The letter of reference that I am planning to attach is not something that was directly got for immigration purposes. It is a letter that just states all the information that is needed but is intended for a different purpose. Hope this explains why reference letter and why not business card.

Ok, I will follow your idea of providing explanation in the cover letter.

My opinion is get the business card stating the same reason for reference letter...It will make u more comfortable and negates all certanities about NER...
