I want to know if i can declare bunkruptcy after being approved in principal. I am sponsoring my commonl law and i just got a letter of that acknowledges receipt of my application for permanent resident status in canada. If i go bunkrupctcy will this affect the application. please help.

Yes, you will not longer be eligible as a sponsor, which you must maintain until the spouse is "landed"
