However, I found there is also a new application named 'Proof of citizenship and/or search of citizenship records'. Absolutely it's not created by myself. I clicked the link, it states as follows:
Canadian citizenship certificate (proof of citizenship) and/or search of citizenship records
Answer a few questions to find out if you can apply online.
If you're eligible and you apply, we'll use your answers to build your online application form.
To avoid delays with your application, make sure your answers are complete and accurate.
What would you like to do? (required)
- Apply for or replace a citizenship certificate (proof of citizenship).
- Search existing citizenship records (confirm if citizenship records exist).
Does anyone know about this? can I just ignore it? I can't understand about it.
I'm not a citizen of Canada and just an international student, so does my wife. How can I have a Canadian citizenship that's so weird?
