Buffalo processing time for permanent resident ( wife sponsor me )

it s been since november and i still waitin for the passport request ! ( they have all documents , medical received , all fees payed )

please if you have an idea how long will it take me to finish with the waitin killin me now !

Buffalo seems to be slowing down from what i read.Its been a little over 6 months since it was recieved thats not bad.After they do all their required work they will send a message to you by email or mail so keep your eyes on both.
I know the waiting is hard but your almost there be patient.

i have somethin i need to ask ya about : even if i m actually in canada ( QUEBEC ) will they send me the passport request or do i have to go with my wife to visa office in canada here to finish the process

They will request you to send your passport for stamping of the visa counterfoil. Then you must "land" either at a point of entry into Canada or at a local CIC office.

Wow...it has been months for you. I know waiting is really difficult. My application is in Buffalo now too. They started processing my application on Apr-27 so it is just a month. Can I ask you some questions? Did they contact you after your status changed to "in process"? I heard that they will do initial assessment and then tell you if they need more proof or if they require you to go for an interview. Did you get any email or mail from them about initial assessment at all?

Usually the PPR is an email, if you gave them an email. If you are near a POE, you can just take the passport down yourself and get the visa and land in the same day.

well what i receive from them just a letter askin me to confirm my adress in case they will contact me and my files number to allowed me check my statut on cic website
that s alll then i heard nothin from them till now
