Buffalo outland application

I filed application to sponser my wife in May 2011, and case got transferred to Buffalo in July 2011. Started processing in April 2012.

I just contact CIC call center, they told me that our case is still with Ottawa. i thought our cases should be distributed to embassies in USA for processing.

Does anyone know how long does it take ottawa to transfer cases to other offices?

Hey Jimmyboy,

I think that your file is still in Ottawa and will stay there because Buffalo office is closed, and so your file might have been transferred there for further processing.
