May I ask why you are disappointed?
I do believe that Buffalo is still processing fairly fast next to other offices.

i saw a lot of not so good comments (somewhere on this forum) that Buffalo processing times are taking a long time. i also talked to a few people who withdrew their application and applied inland instead. We have been waiting for almost 2 months from their last letter stating that me and my spouse will be interviewed and will be contacted again for the exact date of interview. I do feel better that somehow, somebody thinks that Buffalo has fast processing times. I do hope though that it wont take more than 6 months at least. I also hope that me and my spouse going all the way to Buffalo for an 8 hour flight from Edmonton to be interviewed for less than an hour will be worth it.
Sorry to hear about your inconvenience with them. However, I would like to know where you are reading those comments on the forum at? I haven't read such a thing.
I have no advice but be patient. Several people from all over the world have had to wait longer and at least you are with your loved one. Never take advantage of that. I am assuming though that Buffalo really doesn't have much control over how quickly things are processed. Most of the time that is just dependent on your on unique case.
I am fairly certain the flight will be worth it. The interview could just be that they need things cleared up. As long as you know you are a genuine couple then you have nothing to hide or be concerned about. Good luck with everything.
