BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

I applied in feb2011, but I didn't get any update, I sent them an email last week and they didn't reply, WTF is going on.

Where did you get the above from? Did you try to call them? I would call them immediately. Appears to me those who haven't received an update from CIC may have their applications missed/misplaced by the great CPP-O. If that is the case, it's very scary.

I got a call from my lawyer and he has received the following email:

"Dear Sir/Madam,

Your application for immigration to Canada is is process at this office in New York City.

Kindly complete the following forms (IMM8, Schedule A and Family Composition form) to update the file.
Your spouse must complete the same forms as well.

You may download the forms, complete them and send them back to us as an attachment.

I got it from CIC website.
I called them and you know what the guy on the phone said, TO CONTACT OTTAWA for update. WTF WTF WTF.

Ah. This CIC thing is so annoying now. They have gone insane. They don't Know what to do. Keep emailing them until you get a reply.

Guess what happened, I sent them an email and 2 hours later at 9.50 p.m. O.O, I got the ppr email. what a relief, thank you everybody on this forum for your help and input, and good luck to all those who are still waiting, I waited for 25 month (Since feb 2011) and they only contact me twice, on August 2011 to do the medical and yesterday with the PPR. I know how stressful it can be, so hang in there and stay positive.

Thank you everyone. I don't why, but I honestly had your username in my mind when I got it, thinking that you are one of the few ones who have been waiting more than me, and has yet to receive the PPR.

I am sure it is only a couple of weeks at most, hang in there and stay positive. And good luck again to everyone.

Congrats NA1234!!

I was sending these countdown posts on this forum "72 hours remaining.. 48 hours remaining... for 28th Feb deadline"

Then on 27th It was just 1 day left and I had lost all hope... I didnt check my email after 27th Feb 5:30 PM. The next day on 28th the ecas was not changed... hence I didnt bother to check email too.. to avoid disappointment... but voilà!, that magic email was sitting in my mail-box since late night of 27th Feb.

I sincerely hope all the deserving applicants get their updates/PPR soon..
