In my opinion, CIC is processing the post June 2012 applications to bring down the average processing time. This is the only incentive I can think of for the CIC officials to give preference to post June, 2012 applications.
In that way, they can say the new immigration system is in fact working. In other words, we are the pawns in this game of chess in politics. None cares about us.

Guys I have a question my medicals are going to get expired on 23rd of this month.
Also I need to update my employment details.
Is it a good idea to send them the personal history........or should I wait for
their email requesting personal history.

I think you should wait for the email, it will probably lost if no officer is assigned to your file. And medicals will likely be extended.

I suggest you to send them the update...with that you are not loosing any thing except an e-mail time....
even after you get a mail you have to send them the details....
if that reaches them correctly it saves your two weeks time to get a passport request.....

this is my opinion only..take your call..

yes i one of those forgotten ones , reading this thread from past one year .

my time line
App received April 18 2011 ( PNP applicant PG student stream )
med received Oct 2011 (they never asked for med again)
started processing Nov 7 2012
and today its showing decision made (this morning) BUT I HAVEN'T got any EMAIL (magic email ) or regular mail .

not sure i should be happy or worried . i already checked my spam folder and mail box .

never received any update after Oct 2011 , (sent them tons of email ) they always sent me generic email or no action required .

i already sent them email regarding this issue waiting for reply .

yes i tried to call cic call centre but they dont have any info. also i sent email to cpp ottawa .
