Hello everyone,

I know there is some of people here on this forum who applyed through Bucharest Office, some of them are more lucky than others, appearantelly.

I would like to know if is someone here who still waiting for an AOR from Bucharest, a letter, an email, an update on E-cas....

I am still waiting for an AOR from Bucharest, our file, after CIC records,it was send to Bucharest on 8th November 2011, Application recieved at Mississagua Office on 21 July.

I hope I am not the only one who is still waiting for an update and I hope is someone who applyed in the same time with me through Bucharest office, and could give me some answers.

I know you've received word from the VO by now but in case someone else reads this and finds himself in the dark about his application status, here's what I recently found out:

There is a form (IMM5475 - Authority to release personal information to a designated individual) that can help in some cases. I completed it, signed it and sent it to Bucharest in order to authorize a relative to get information about the application on my behalf. My relative then went to the Consulate and talked to them about my case. Although I haven't received an AOR or any e-CAS updates since the app reached Bucharest, now I know that they have the file and that it is in process. And that's all I need to know )

Yes indeed, I've recieved already news, thank God! ;D

But it's a good advice for someone who dosen't have news at all and have someone to be count on,( a good friend, someone from your family) and of course who dosen't live far away from the Embassy...
