Hi bryanna or experts members,

I have a question that i have applied for trv on 15th Dec 2016 and its now more than 35 days no updates in my account but during these 35 days period i have also applied for uk visit visa on 6th Jan 2017 and yesterday i just got my passport back with refusal letter from uk.

Now my question is when i applied for canada trv last month i never had any refusal from any country so i answer correctly at that time NO to the other country refusal question in visa form. as its almost more than 35 days of trv applied and i got 1st ever refusal in my life so will it effect on my trv application and how can i inform cic about this change or is it ok if i wait for the outcome as its already crossed the timeline processing for my country.

I have enough travel history to usa, schengen, turkey, korea, singapore and around 10 other asian countries. so what is your expert opinion that is this recent refusal from uk will effect on my application as i have not mentioned it in my trv application bcz it happen this week.

waiting for your quick response, thanks in advance to all experts for their opinio

Hi,

You must immediately send a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) and an email to the relevant visa office for your country of residence to inform them that you have received a UK visa refusal in the interim time when your Canada TRV is being processed.

You can send the details of the UK visa refusal in this CSE/email. Also mention that you are disclosing this UK visa refusal to IRCC of your own accord (and that IRCC has not requested you for this information)

Cheers

What was the reason of refusal, is that bank statements or any other

Yes refused bcz of bank statement as i had few large transactions in my statements like 3 to 4 mn rupees so they so they said you have not mentioned that where from these funds deposited in your account. in fact i have sold my cars and got these transactions.

What is your timeline for canada and also do let me know if you get your outcome.

Thanks bryanna for your quick response. I am going to email and send CSE but i have a question if i dont send it then is it possible that it will make negative effect on my application ? bcz its just happened 2 days ago and my application was submitted to IRCC 15th dec 2016.

Also today is 36th day of my application filed so that CSE will be able to update application bcz my it is already crossed the time processing for my country so any time they can take decision.

And one more question is after sending CSE and updating about the current refusal so is there any chance that they will also take the same decision just bcz of that refusal from uk ?

Last question is if i won't send CSE will they know about this refusal or they won't know until i inform them ?

waiting for your valuable opinions and thanks in advance :)

Every visa application is evaluated for its own merits and according to the visa requirements of each country. IRCC and UKBA have their own guidelines for assessing a visit visa application.

Also, Canada and the UK are part of the Five Country Conference where immigration data is shared between Canada and these allies. It's not absolutely clear to what extent immigration/biometric information is shared presently. But why take a risk?

Ok bryanna so you are advice me to submit CSE ok respect your expert opinion and submitting it today. Actually i am worried if i submit and inform them about this new update so they maybe follow it and can give same decision after knowing that i got refuse by uk. not sure that this CSE will give positive effect or negative effect on my application. bcz today is already 37 days of my application submitted and in my country the avg time is 32 days. and i got refused uk visa after 31 days of trv applied so don't know how they will asses my application.

bryanna i got passport request yesterday and submitted passport in vfs. so how long will take to process it and request for passport mean visa approve or still chances ???

Did you send the CSE?

If you've sent the CSE and you've now got a passport request then this is great news. However, you'll still have to wait until you get your passport back.

How long it will take to get your passport back will depend on where you are based/your visa office. Typically, it's about 7-10 days for passport transmission
