Hi bryanna
Divya here!!
First of all I must appreciate your valuable replies.

I have few questions regarding my mom visitor visa.
1) I have earlier also applied for her in september2015 but got refused..for the reasons mentioned in caips notes. I sending you its snapshot.my mom showed 13 lakh inr liquid money
And property on her name worth 90 lakh inr approx.
But in caips notes its written not sufficient funds.
Also its written no promise of support from daughter side..I can't understand this..I sent invitation letter ..full of promises.

2) any how now I want to invite her again for my wedding..
Will my current employment letter only work or I have to submitt notice of assessment also . I must specify that my last year filed tax is little low as I have not worked for few months due to my health issues..but from this I had good salary ..so I have employment letter specifying that ..what do u suggest!

Please suggest!

Hi Divya,

Did your mom apply for a TRV or for a Super Visa previously?
What were the exact reasons for refusal?
Was all of the money in your mom's bank account her own money or transferred by yourself?

Is she applying for a TRV this time?

Please post the complete list of documents which your mom will submit + your documents as the host + for how long does she intend to visit?

Cheers

Hi Briyanna
Here is complete details

Reason for her refusal as per letter was:
1) purpose of visit
2) Financial Funds
3) intent to overstay act 179 a

ACCORDING TO CAIPS NOTES:
WIDOW FEMALE VISITING DTR; NO PREVIOUS OR SIMILAR TRAVEL HISTORY; MODEST FUNDS FOR FAMILY AND ENDEAVOURS; NOT SATISFIED WITH INDEPENDENT AND LIQUID FUNDS;NOT SATISFIED WITH PURPOSE AND LENGTH OF STAY.NOT SATISFIED AS BONAFIDE VISITOR TO CDA AND WOULD LEAVE AT END OF AUTHORIZED STAY.

NOW SHE HAS SHOWN LIQUID MONEY AS 13 LAKH INR. WHICH IS NOT BORROWED . I CAN SHOW BANK STATEMENT OF ONE YEAR OR MORE. AND SHE HAS PROPERTIES ON HER NAME.
NOW I WANT TO APPLY AGAINFOR HER FOR 2 MONTHS STAY FOR MY WEDDING .PLZ SUGGEST:

HER DOCUMENTS WILL BE:
1)PHOTOCOPY OF PASSPORT
2)PHOTOCOPY OF RATION CARD SPECIFYING MY BROTHER ,HIS WIFE AND ME AS FAMILY MEMBERS(I HAVE NOT SUBMITTED THIS IN PREVIOUS APPLICATION)
3) LETTER FROM CA SPECIFYING PROPERTY ASSESSMENT AND JEWELLERY CASH AND ALL( IN MY PREVIOUS APPLICATION I JUST SUBMITTED PROPERTY EVALUATION LETTER FROM ARCHITECT)
4) LIC POLICY
5) ITR OF 4 YEAR
6)RENT AGREEMENT AS ONE OF HER PROPERTY IS RENTED WITH PROOF OF CHEQUES AS RENT PAID.
7)MEDICAL INSURANCE( NOT SUBMITTED IN MY PREVIOUS APPLICATION).
8) PHOTOCOPY OF PROPERTY PAPERS
9)BANK STATEMENT OF 6 MONTHS WITH BALANCE CERTIFICATE.
10)4 PHOTOGRAPHS.
11)HER IDENTITY CARD

MY DOCUMENTS

1) MY PR CARD
2)PHOTOCOPY OF PASSPORT
3) CURRENT EMPLOYMENT LETTER SPECIFYING MY SALARY AND JOB(65000 $ PER ANNUM)
4)MY BANK STATEMENT($15000)
5)MY 10TH CERTIFICATE SPECIFYING RELATION WITH MOM.
6) WEDDING CARD AND VENUE BOOKING RECEIPTS.
7)MY DRIVING LICENSE PHOTOCOPY.
8)INVITATION LETTER NOTARIZED FROM INDIA AS I AM IN INDIA CURRENTLY

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I DO PLEASE SUGGEST. I WANT HER ON MY WEDDING AT ANY COST.
ALSO MY PREVIOUS YEAR NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT IS LITTLE LOW AS I HAVE NOT WORKED FOR FEW MONTHS, SO NOT SHOWING THAT WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST.SHOULD I SUBMIT THAT OR EMPLOYMENT LETTER WILL WORK.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

Hi,

Even though your mom has property + good financial situation + rental income.... there is nothing by way of really strong ties which would make it necessary for her to return to India.

Does she live with your brother and his family?
Does she take her of their kids while they are at work?
Does she have any commitments or responsibilities, including volunteering or charity work?
Does she have to return by a particular date for any reason? For example, to renew the rental agreement, a wedding or family event?

Also, keep her visit to 2-3 weeks.... and include a detailed itinerary of tourist places, meeting family and friends.... do not state the purpose of visit as only visiting for your wedding

Hi Divya,

Your mom can show that she must return to take care of your sister-in-law and the baby.... do submit proofs for this.

Do prepare a Covering Letter too.... and show that she has addressed the reasons for the TRV refusal.

Your mom must submit proofs for:
Property: Ownership documents + recent property tax receipts + loan/mortgage-free + CA valuation + property times reports stating market rates to back the CA valuation

Rental Income: Rental agreement + bank statements showing rent payments for the last 3-4 months (highlight these rental payments)

Finances: Bank statements for 6 months + FDs with interest certificates/shares/jewelry as investments/NSC/LIC + ITRs for 2 years

Family: Your brother and sister-in-law live with your mom + as the must return by reason (and any other reason that you can include with evidence)

Medical Insurance: It's a good idea to include it.

Day-by-day itinerary

Cheers

Hey, Bryanna!

I am new on this forum and as far as I understand you are a good adviser. I have a few questions and I would appreciate if you could answer them. Could you send me your email address? I don't want to share my story here, it's too personal. Or please send me an email to atityrimai@gmail.com. Thank you very much!
