Goal of this post
I am looking for pointers from this community on immigration programs that I have a good shot at. While I am reviewing for potential fit myself, I would truly benefit from the invaluable experience of y'all here. Below I share details relevant to my application
Details of my candidacy
I would sincerely appreciate any pointers you have to offer!
I am looking for pointers from this community on immigration programs that I have a good shot at. While I am reviewing for potential fit myself, I would truly benefit from the invaluable experience of y'all here. Below I share details relevant to my application
Details of my candidacy
- <25 year old single individual with <4 years of full time work experience as a cybersecurity analyst (current occupation)
- 3 years bachelors degree that per ECA is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Canada
- Got 8.0 in IELTS overall
- No job offer from Canadian employers or education in Canada
- Two family connections to Alberta (uncle, and grandma) and one more to Canada (uncle)
- Adequate funds per proof of funds guidance for single applicant
- CRS of between 435 and 440
- FSW (with my low score I reckon my chances are low short of a provincial nomination?)
- AIP (without a job offer, I don't qualify for the accelerated tech pathway, and my family connections - uncle, grandma - don't qualify for the family connections program)
- SINP (based on my calculations on the SINP grid, I get only 58 points - so 2 short of the minimum 60 required?)
- What other / specific immigration programs should I explore?
- Am I missing out something about the programs I am looking at?
I would sincerely appreciate any pointers you have to offer!
