I have education and work experience in India and the UK. I've lived in the UK for a majority of my adult life and would consider my British work experience and education more in the lines of my profession.

I have submitted my eAPR a few days ago and anxiously awaiting the big decision from CIC.

I want to understand how Canadian employers look at British work experience and education. Would they consider it on par with Canadian work experience and education or would it be absolutely necessary to pick up additional Canadian certifications and Canadian educational qualifications?

I dont expect to get a higher position where I am now in the UK or pick up where I left off in the UK. I would be ok starting off a level or 2 lower and I hope I dont have to start from scratch with unpaid internships and the like to get a head start.

I have a masters degree and not looking to do a PhD. My current work is higher that mid management but lower than top management.

It is good to have. Of course not in the same level like Canadian or US, but it is highly appreciated.
