Brining American wife...do I need to do application for son who is a Canadian?

Hey all,

I am fixing to bring my American wife here. As per others helpful advice I will be doing it Outland. I have been reading the regulations and requirements and everything and am a little confused on what to do about my 1.5 years old son who lives with her. He is a verified Canadian citizen (I did the proof of citizenship thing when he was born). Do I need to add him as a dependent on her application even though he is a Canadian citizen? Does he need the medical exams and everything?

You don't sponsor your son for PR since he is Canadian. However he does need to be listed in IMM5406 and IMM5481 for your wife's PR sponsorship. The son does not require medical test. Only your wife.

thanks. I did not think I needed to give him medical but its government...you never know!
