Hai guys
i am here in canada with a work permit and work visa . My spouse applied for open work permit from india and it got rejected stating no strong toes in the country of residence,secondly not sufficiently established. do you guys think that he can apply for a visit visa,he just wants to visit me for a month. Is there any chance of getting the visa or will it get rejected again? what do you think.

In order to qualify for a visit visa, he will need to show strong ties to India.

If he wasn't able to prove strong ties for the open work permit - he will probably face the same challenge with the visit visa.

Last time he didnot show any employment letter or property,misguided by an agent. Do you think showing this makes any difference to his visit visa application. What else can be shown to prove a strong tie

Yes - that could make a difference.

He could also show: assets (e.g. bank accounts), family ties (close family still in India), return flight ticket

Thanks Skyllia.............how do we show the stron ties to parents.............writing a letter........or gifted property from them or both...........pls suggest. He works independently and has retainers............is that letter from them is sufficient.....he has no govt job. What all we can show for stron tie............pls reply
