Bringing passport to Ottawa

Hi all,

My husband received his passport request today and since he is currently in Canada on a TRV we are sending it to Ottawa. Since we are in Ottawa, can we physically bring it there or does it have to be mailed? Thank you for any answers.

i doubt there's anywhere to physically bring it, as the address provided is usually not a specific office number, and it's highly unlikely CIC will let you enter the building, even if you do find it. if you do go in person, either you will be turned away or they will have you drop your package off for them to deliver. it's best to just follow the directions and send it by mail.
