Hey, so i know there is alot of talk about bringing partners etc over to canada.

I Was wondering if there was anyway, if i got PR or citizenship that i would be able to bring my mother over to canada to live here? or does it only really work the other way around? my job skill would be NOC 0, i wouldnt be supporting her as such, she would be working out here also.

Or if i ever become a citizen, can i do it then i wonder?

You can sponsor her through family sponsorship once you become a PR, however it will take many years for this to go through. Actually, we're in the same position, that's what I've been looking into, thanks to some sudden events that made the whole thing urgent. It would be worth looking into any skilled programs if she has any degrees/experience on a job that Canada considers skilled. That would certainly be faster.
