I met a woman from the phillipeans in august of this past year and we've been talking or e-mailing and I've saved almost everything,I have some reciepts from western union if that matters and We've set a wedding date for june. Is there anything I'm overlooking as far as setting the stage for a strong spousel immigration case?
We will be able to prove almost a year's worth of contact and financial support to some degree? what else do I need to do?

Immigration is not to clear on what I should be getting ready for or what she will need as far a documentation to make this happen, both befor or after the wedding.I am a canadian citizen and have always been.
Any help or detailed info would be greatly appriciated.

First of all, you should get married. :)

Then read www.cic.gc.ca
"Sponsor your family"
There is nothing difficult to read and to follow the Guide.

If, after having read it, you still have questions, I am sure, everybody here would be glad to answer them.

You're doing the right things. Yes, the western union receipts will help establish your relationship. Emails, phone records, letters, joint vacations (pictures, hotel bills, ticket stubs, passport stamps), and anything else will help. Getting married is, of course, the capstone. You'll want that fully documented with pictures, honeymoon arrangements, etc.

It's also a good idea to spend some time living with your spouse. Whether it's feasible or not, I don't know. But it will strengthen your application.
