Hey guys and gals, I need your help. Please guide me.

My husband has sponsored me and now I am landed in Canada since 8 months, officially PR.

I am pregnant and wish to call my mother to Canada for moral support, for the remaining duration of pregnancy and post pregnancy.

I wish to take the easiest and fastest route possible. I see the Super Visa to be it. Do you think so too?

What steps should I be taking right now, do I need to provide a letter from my doctor? If anyone has experience in this matter, please let me know.

Thanks!

Either a regular visit visa or a super visa. CIC is not accepting immigration applications for parents until 2014 - and once they do, the processing time will take years.

No letter from your doctor is required. The most important thing is for your mother to be able to prove that she is a genuine visitor, has strong ties to her home country and has no plans on remaining in Canada long term.

Thank you. Any pros and cons of regular visa vs super visa?

Pros of a super visa are that it will allow you mother to stay longer. Cons are that you must meet minimum income requirements, your mother must pass a medical, you must purchase insurance up front to cover your mother during her stay in Canada, and I suspect CIC looks more closely at ties to the home country for these applications.

That makes sense. Thank you very much!

Re: Bringing mother for visit or immigration for help in baby born in canada?

my parents also 3 times trip to Australia for my sisters pregnancy so they have Australia's visa.

Thanks!

Do you meet the income requirement? If not, try multiple visa.
