Bringing a child to canada ( A complicated situation)

I came to Canada in 2001 and married to someone here and got a PR and citizenship. I am already divorced here with the Canadian lady. But I was already married back in my home country(although it was not documented then) and have a daughter who was born before 2001. After I divorced in Canada, I registered my marriage with my original wife in my home country and applied for her immigration visa. My original wife recently came to Canada in my spousal sponsorship but we didnt mention that we have a daughter in our application just to avoid timeline complications and confusion with the immigration officer. Now I want to bring my daughter as well to Canada. I have also not declared her in any of my immigration application materials ever. It is going to be bad, if not illegal, to declare that I have a daughter now although I didnt mention her in my documents earlier. I can provide DNA test for her if required. How can I bring her over to Canada? Please give me some advise.

Unfortunately you've made several very bad decisions.

Because you didn't declare your daughter - she can never be sponsored. If you choose to pursue this through H&C, CIC will likely figure out that you misrepresented information (both regarding your daughter and your relationship with your first wife in your home country) and this could very likely place your own PR status in jeopardy.

You made several misrepresentations, including lying about being not being married when you took your canadian wife, and not declaring your daughter. There is a chance that if you obtained your citizenship this way you yourself could be deported. Forget about bringing your daughter here. You need a lawyer, and even then I doubt there is much you can do with respect to your daughter

Get a study permit for your daughter. After some years studying and living experience in Canada, your daughter might be able to apply PR on her own.

the only way i see out of this is to file papers for adoption and then have her sponsored over. Goto pak spend some money get her name changed...and then apply for adoption...thats the only way i see out of this- you know how things work in pak...

Honestly, just go back to your home country to be with your daughter and "original" wife. This is gut-wrenching for me to even read..

Steaky is right, this is best possible way you can get your daughter BUT very costly for sure.

i was just wondering how did the sponsorship of the original wife become successful when it was not "documented" before ? im guessing when they "registered" the marriage after the divorce, they misrepresented the date of marriage as well? like they made it look like they just married after the divorce right? you may get deported for what you did. in the first place, your marriage to the Canadian was null and void because you are already married to someone else so if you got your PR under sponsorship of your Canadian ex, that is a huge misrepresentation , not to mention bigamy, which is a CRIME accdng to Canadian laws

It'd be nice if CIC reads these forums and can get an IP address of the OP...

Very illegal, and morally wrong, what you did. Not going to find a lot of sympathy here.

This was my first thought also!

Of course you didnt mention your daughter in either application. That would be a sure fire way for immigration to see your marriage fraud!
