bring wife to wait her resident in canada

hi my name is Alex,im a permanent resident from canada and i live in Vancouver, i start my application for sponsorship in march,my wife have the tourist visa for USA but not the one for Canada, we try to get the tourist visa for Canada, but she didn't get it, i wanna know how can i do so she can wait her resident with me inside Canada, ill really appreciate your help, thanks

She's a US citizen?
Since it's a visa-exempt country, she should be able to extend her stay.

AmeriCanada i applied outland, on march 5th of this year, and its around 14 month what i have to wait, and we already have 4 years living like this,

Yes - your wife can certainly try applying for a visit visa to Canada.

Unfortunately visit visas for spouses (especially those who have already submitted a sponsorship application) are often refused because visit visas are intended for people who only plan to visit Canada for a short period of time and have no plans to remain in Canada long term.

Again, you can certainly try. However I think there's a pretty good chance the visa will be refused.

thanks scylla, we try that already, and unfortunately it didn't work, i read on the web page of the work visa, its the another kind of permission to allow her to be in Canada until her papers are done? in USA when you get married, you can ask for your wife so she can wait the papers in the country,i dont know what kind of visa its that but its there something similar to that here?,

No, there isn't. Either she comes as a visitor, or she obtains a work permit on her own merits (being married to a Canadian will not help) by finding an employer who requires her services, or she gets a student visa (highly unlikely). Otherwise, she will have to wait out the sponsorship processing until she gets PR in her own country, and you try to visit with each other where you can.

you can try after getting sponsorship approval, your chances will increase and most probably your wife will get visa.

Yeah Syclla and Ashunadal are right. There have been many people who were successful with entering while their application was being in process. This is what I am planning on doing, I've also been told to not look like as if I was moving though, so I am planning on just packing up clothes.

From your username, I assume you are American which, if true, means you can visit Canada as a tourist without needing a visa (ie you are visa-exempt). Therefore, you can visit Canada and it's just up to the immigration officer to let you in. Unfortunately, the OPs wife is Peruvian and needs a visa to be able to enter Canada and her tourist visa application was denied

Alexandercc - since your wife has a US visa, finances permitting, you could consider having her visit the Seattle area (just over the border) for a while which should make it at least feasible to see each other on weekends while you wait. It's hard to be apart but hang in there

Hey Canadiana sorry I wasn't very specific I didnt mean obtaining a TRV. I just meant I would go up to Canada while my part of the application is in process. From what I heard the VOs are usually friendly to married couples, so I hope my entry to Canada is friendly lol

Assuming you are American, that would work for you since not obtaining a TRV is a benefit that you, as an American, get but the OP's wife doesn't get as she is not visa exempt.

The OP's wife would need a TRV and, in addition, to have the officer at the border consider the case of allowing her in when she's at the border. You get to skip the first part of that as an American. Unfortunately, the OPs wife has already been denied a TRV (often happens to folks in sponsorship process since they have established intent to move and stay in Canada, which essentially is the opposite of what you need to be approved for a TEMPORARY resident permit, by definition)

Border officers can be friendly to Americans crossing the border - just make sure you take proof of your ties to the US (lease, job, etc) since they can check that at time of crossing.
